In recent years, internet users have experienced how the internet has evolved. 

We have known Web 1.0 and 2.0 and now we are faced with the challenge of getting to know the functionalities of Web 3.0, which aims to revolutionize the internet and bring us closer to a third generation of the web, aimed above all at websites and applications.

<\/strong>Web 3.0 is a version of the Internet that seeks to give us control over our information and is closely linked to the concept of the “Semantic Web”, which, in general terms, seeks to introduce a series of languages and procedures that can interpret certain characteristics of the user with the aim of offering a more personalized interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Although there is no consensus on the definition of this new term and its implications for the use of the web, there are certain characteristics that help us to give shape to this concept.

To speak of Web 3.0 is to approach the terms decentralization and consumer privacy. Technologies such as blockchain, NFT and cryptocurrencies are highly relevant in this respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data protection in Web 3.0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


<\/strong>Apparently, the aim of Web 3.0 is to protect user data to a greater or lesser extent through the implementation of blockchain technology. It is also expected that it will not be necessary to provide a real identity, and to be able to browse anonymously, offering the user greater privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Web 3.0 will become a large database, so the access and management of this data will be particularly relevant. Its aim is to ensure that two people searching the Internet for a product or service using the same keywords receive different results according to their personal profiles through artificial intelligence and blockchain.

However, we understand that measures are included in order to protect the data protection and privacy of users through new technologies but there is no clear structure about the measures implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>The uses offered by Web 3.0 are expected to be more diverse and personalized. Among them, we can highlight intelligent search, the growth of new social networks, speed when searching for answers, better connectivity on different devices, access to three-dimensional Google Earth spaces, adaptation of web pages to any format, thus avoiding entering a web page and having it look bad and messy, among other novelties.
